Dear Families,

Happy Wednesday!

On Tuesday we went up to the computer lab.  We took a little tour and  then we did some activities on the Smart Board.  The boys and girls are excited to visit the computer lab again.

We had Mrs. Aron for Library on Tuesday.  They read a fun story and did an activity after.  They were such good listeners.

Today we met our Music teacher Mr. Walker.  He read them a story and  they got to play with some instruments!  We were very happy to meet Mr. Walker today.

This week we started talking about Community Helpers.  We learned that there are people that live and work in our neighborhoods.  There are many different Community Helpers. Doctors, chefs, teachers, firefighters, police officers, mail carriers, and many more are all examples of Community Helpers.  The boys and girls are Community Helpers as well!  Everyone has special jobs each week to help in the classroom.  Each week you can ask your child what their job is!

We have been working hard on learning our prayers these past few weeks.  The boys and girls are learning the Guardian Angel Prayer, the Mealtime Prayer, and the Hail Mary.  See if they can show you how to make the Sign of the Cross.

Next week we will be having an apple tasting in honor of Johnny Appleseed.  Slips are due by Wednesday, September 27th.
